Anyone living in or around the Metro-Richmond area who would like to complete the Virginia DGIF Hunter Education course should consider attending an upcoming session being held April 3-5, 2012 at Gethsemane Church of Christ in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The course will be facilitated by long-time instructor William Bush and provide information regarding hunter safety, principles of conservation, and sportsmanship. Participants must be attendance for all sessions and the schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, April 3rd from 6-9pm
- Wednesday, April 4th from 6-9pm
- Thursday, April 5th from 6-10pm

Don’t forget that completion of the Hunter Education course is mandatory for 12-15 year old and first time hunters. Courses are held throughout the year around the state, so visit the Virginia DGIF website for additional class listings. This is a great way to introduce anyone, especially children, to the sport of hunting and conservation.
